These brackets let a table fold flat against the wall when you are not using it and lock solid when you are. The 90 degree catch engages automatically as the bracket swings up, so there is no separate pin to set and no chance of it dropping under load. Each set is rated to 496 lb, which is enough for a workbench, a laundry folding surface, or a balcony table. They mount with the sixteen supplied screws in about five minutes, with no routing or specialist tools, and fold to a 1.2 inch depth against the wall.
